Indian Idol 12's Ashish Kulkarni Clarifies If The Singing Reality Show Is Scripted Or Not
Indian Idol 12 contestant Ashish Kulkarni is one of the top 7 contestants of the ongoing singing reality show. As the show was being shot in a bio-bubble due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the contestants have not met their families for almost 6 months now. As per reports in ETimes, Ashish after reuniting with his family interacted with the media. The contestant shared his experience on the show, as well as gave out his opinion on the claims of it being scripted.

Denying all the claims, he clarified none of the performances on the show is scripted. Everything is organic and natural. He also stated that just like one gets praised for performance, one also faces wrath if the performance is not up to the mark. He said, “Let me tell you honestly none of our performances are scripted. It is all natural and organic, the way we perform it is exactly shown the same way. It is totally unscripted, if you sing well, you get praised, if you sing badly you have to face the wrath. A few other things are part of the entertainment.”

He adds, “We all have our journeys and it is not scripted it is true.”

Speaking about developing a friendly bond with his co-contestants, he shares when stories of their bonding are shown on the show, it just eases the atmosphere. “We all are staying with each other and we share a bonding so when stories about her friendship and bonding are shown, it makes the atmosphere light. We have a lot of pressure before the performance and these moments make us relax. We contestants enjoy these moments.
